We are going to have some amazing authors and illustrators in our lineup. Here's a glimpse into some of their work that we carry at the library:

Organizations that will have booths at our book fair are listed below:

  • Chickasaw Press – was created in response to the basic need of the Chickasaws to own their history, Chickasaw Press—the first Native American tribal press of its kind—was established as an entity of the Chickasaw Nation in 2006. The goal of Chickasaw Press is to preserve, perpetuate, and provide an awareness of Chickasaw history and culture.
  • OU Expository Writing Program – offers students the opportunity to sharpen their critical thinking, reading, and writing skills through the intensive examination of a particular topic. The defining feature of an Expo course is students’ collaboration with their instructors.
  • OCU Red Earth MFA – offers the opportunity to study creative writing without sacrificing your life. Our program connects you with experienced creative and professional writers who will nurture your creative talent in workshops, peer groups, and individual instruction.
  • Penny Candy Books – an independent children’s book publishing company based in Oklahoma City and Savannah, Georgia. Penny Candy’s mission is to publish children's literature that reflects the diverse realities of the world we live in, both at home and abroad. This means seeking out books by and about people and subjects that speak to and from a broad range of human experience.
  • 4RV Publishing - a local publisher located in Edmond, OK. They work with a variety of genres and topics.
