Take a Break with a Holiday Short Story

Holiday stress

Schedules get crazy this time of year. Between all the holiday parties, the shopping, the Christmas specials on TV… who has time to read? Well, have no fear loyal Buzzreads fans! I have your solution. Short stories! What better way to get in the holiday spirit than to read some festive short stories!

Check out my holiday picks below…

My True Love Gave to Me: 12 Holiday Stories

This collection of short stories is written by some of the best young adult authors today. Each one takes on a different element of the holiday season and will really help you to get in the mood! My personal favorite: "Polaris, Is Where You’ll Find Me" by Jenny Han.

Let It Snow: 3 Holiday Romances

This is a collection of three holiday romances written by popular young adult authors: Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle. I can’t really pick a favorite among these stories because I love them all!

Mistletoe: 4 Holiday Stories

This collection feels a little older but is just as good. Popular young adult authors include: Melissa de la Cruz, Hailey Abbott, Aimee Friedman, and Nina Malkin. You don’t want to miss this one! And there you have it! No matter what you are busy doing this holiday season, everyone has time to fit in a short story or two. So grab a hot chocolate and a blanket and take a breather as you enjoy these fantastic collections!

Happy Reading!
