Set Up Adobe Digital Editions on your Mobile Device

  1. Click on Get Books
  2. Click on the Settings tab
  3. Authorize with Adobe Digital Editions
    If you do not have an Adobe ID, click get an Adobe ID online.
    • Follow the instructions to sign up for an Adobe ID.
    • Return to the OverDrive Media Console App.
    • Enter the email address and password for your Adobe account.

To prevent authorization errors, we recommend using the same email address for registering your mobile device and setting up your Adobe ID.

Android & iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users can use the Get Books option in the app, and search for our library by Metropolitan Library System or your zip code.

  1. Browse for a title you wish to download.
  2. Check out with your library card information.
  3. Download the title and the OverDrive Media Console app will automatically open.

Our eMedia Service's OverDrive Media Console App will allow you to experience our digital collection virtually anywhere you have a mobile connection or Wi-Fi. You even have the ability to download MP3 audiobooks.
