"The Warr Acres Library is closing for three days to prepare for the addition of several public computers," announced library manager Barbara Beasley today. "A trench will be cut into the concrete floor so that cables and cords can be installed for this new equipment. Demand for Internet access and word processing continues to increase so we are increasing the number of computers to address this demand."
The Warr Acres Library will close Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, March 29 - March 31 to have the floor trenched so that conduit for electrical and data can be put in place. This will enable the library to relocate the computers in use now as well as add new ones in the future. The Metropolitan Library System announced that it is necessary to close Warr Acres Library while the trenching is being done due to safety and noise issues.
