Federal Jobs Program At Del City Library

As of the first week of March, 2007, there were 24,175 jobs available from the federal government, including over two dozen in Oklahoma City.

What are you waiting for?

The Del City Library, part of the Metropolitan Library System, will present a program on Tuesday, March 20, to show you how you can get a Federal job.

“Everyone knows Federal jobs offer good pay and great benefits,” said Del City Librarian Sam Weehunt.  “However, landing a Federal job is often a difficult task so a little help may be called for.”

And that’s where Herman Guidry, from the Tinker Air Force base office of civilian personnel, comes in.  Guidry will visit the Del City Library, 4509, S.E. 15th on March 20th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to show you how to take the “Ten Steps to a Federal Job.”

The program is free and open to the public, but call 672-1377 to pre-register.

The Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma County includes 12 libraries and five extension libraries.  Libraries include Belle Isle, Capitol Hill, Ralph Ellison, Ronald J.
