Scope: This guide is not intended to give all the information needed to research Parenting Teens; it is a beginning guide to help those interested in the subject matter. It is based on items owned by the Metropolitan Library System and available through the library system's online databases and the Internet. Raising teenagers can be a challenging but rewarding task, and by employing certain skills and tactics, parents can foster an environment in which their teenagers stay safe, show respect, and keep in touch. Intended to help parents or caregivers interested in improving their parenting and communication skills, this pathfinder focuses on materials available through the Metropolitan Library System and also includes some resources such as Internet websites and community resources.
