Libraries and Science Museum Oklahoma Partner with Bath Lab 2.0

Take a break from the chaos and reconnect your mind with the pleasure of relaxation and engaging scientific exploration. The Belle Isle Library, the Choctaw Library and Science Museum Oklahoma partner on a fun and therapeutic program. Bath Lab 2.0 will be held at the Belle Isle Library on Thursday, July 21 at 6:30 p.m. and will also be held at the Choctaw Library on Saturday, July 23 at 10 a.m.

At Bath Lab 2.0, attendees will explore the beneficial properties of herbs and oils, mix them together to create unique blends, and even add in a few chemistry secrets to make things bubble and fizz.

“What a nice and relaxing way to spend an hour after a hot and busy summer?” said Belle Isle Library manager, Ashley Welke.

Attendees of these free programs will leave prepared with a selection of bath creations to cleanse, rejuvenate and exfoliate.

Her original dream of being an architect didn’t pan out since she and physics didn’t play well together, so she decided to get a degree in Journalism/Advertising.
