Help Your Library Win! (Maze Runner on OverDrive)

If you love eBooks but hate to wait for the latest releases when they are checked out, our eMedia provider, Overdrive, is making it easier for you to get what you want to read and help your Metropolitan Library System win at the same time. Books browsed on the library’s digital download website, www.metrolibrary.org/downloads, will now feature a “Buy it Now Option.” When customers click to get an eBook, they can choose check it out if it's available, to join the waiting list if it's checked out, or choose to buy the title from popular book sellers: Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Library.bin and Powell’s Books. If they buy the book from these vendors, a portion of the sale goes back to the library to fund additional digital purchases. The cost of the book purchased through Metro Library’s eMedia site is the exact same as if it was purchased directly from the original vendor site. Also, there is now a “Help your library WIN” box on the front page of the eMedia website where customers can purchase anything from the same vendors and the Metropolitan library gets proceeds on ANYTHING purchased from that site. To participate in this easy way to support your library, visit our digital downloads page and click, shop, win!
