Eric Litwin is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes and three follow-up adventures. He is also the author of the new musical series The Nuts.

Litwin will visit the Belle Isle Library Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 6 P.M. and the Southern Oaks Library Thursday, Dec. 3 for two performances at 12:45 P.M. and 1:45 P.M.

"We’re excited to have Eric visit our libraries,” says Kristin Williamson, children’s outreach coordinator. “His program is a combination of interactive storytelling and music. He’s a former educator so he really understands children and does an excellent job of interacting with families and getting them engaged with reading.

Litwin performs all over the world and is a popular keynote speaker on interactive literacy. He is also co-founder of the Learning Groove. Find out more on his website EricLitwin.com.

I earned a BA in Professional Writing from the University of Oklahoma. I enjoy writing about all of the great things the library system has to offer. When not penning articles and press releases about valuable library services, I hang out with my two creative children. We love to find interesting free things to do around Oklahoma and visit libraries and book stores wherever we go.
