When the Capitol Hill Library opened in southwest Oklahoma City in 1951, it was a state-of-the-art facility embraced by the growing community. Sixty-four years later, the Capitol Hill Library remains nestled within an expanding community and bustles with activity on a daily basis. Community needs have changed since 1951, but library customers continue to look to the library to find the books, information, technology, entertainment and assistance that they need.

Experience the authentic folk culture of pre-revolutionary Russia through the sights and sounds of a lively performance by Moscow Nights. The trio of classically trained musicians hopes to preserve Russian culture by playing on instruments that date as far back as 1688.

The effects of major depression are far reaching, but most of those who are afflicted suffer in secret and silence. According Healthline.com, one in 10 Americans has symptoms of clinical depression, but over 80 percent of those are not receiving treatment.  Oklahoma is listed as one of the seven states with the highest rates of depression. The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance reports that depression is one of the top three workplace issues.
