Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the library it’s Teen Read Month again. And for teens, it’s more than safe to go the library. It’s also fun.
October is Teen Read Month at the Metropolitan Library System! This year’s national theme is It Came From the Library®, which encourages teens to read just for the fun of it. Libraries across the world celebrate with a variety of special events and programs aimed at encouraging teens to read for pleasure and to visit their libraries for free reading materials. It's a time to celebrate reading for fun and take advantage of reading in all its forms —books and magazines, e-books, audiobooks and more — and become regular library users.
