Event Description

Join us the 3rd Saturday every month for Author Hour: where we talk writing, publishing and everything in between. Questions are always welcome.

This month, we'll be joined by three authors: Jessica Spotswood (GREAT OR NOTHING), Amanda Quain (ACCOMPLISHED) & Anna Bright (THE SONG THAT MOVES THE SUN)

##
About the authors:

Anna Bright is the author of YA novels The Beholder, The Boundless, and The Song That Moves the Sun. When not writing or working as an indie bookseller, she loves concerts, roller coasters, and adventures at home and abroad. Anna lives with her family in a charming corner of Washington, DC, but you can find her online at www.annabrightbooks.com and on Instagram at @brightlyanna.
**
AMANDA QUAIN is a writer, indie bookseller, and general life enthusiast. When she’s not shouting about her favorite new books, she loves theatre, baking, rock climbing, marching band, and the overall pursuit of adventure. If forced to choose, Amanda’s favorite Austen hero is Edward Ferrars, though she’ll always have a soft spot for Mr. Bingley. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband and her cat. ACCOMPLISHED is her first novel.
**
Jessica Spotswood is the author of the fantasy trilogy The Cahill Witch Chronicles and the contemporary novels Wild Swans and The Last Summer of the Garrett Girls. She is the editor of the feminist anthologies A Tyranny of Petticoats and The Radical Element and co-editor of Toil & Trouble. Her most recent novel is Great or Nothing, a World War II-era reimagining of Little Women, co-written with Joy McCullough, Tess Sharpe, and Caroline Tung Richmond. Jess lives in Washington, DC, where she works for the DC Public Library.
