Program Description

Event Description

Want to be a more confident reader? Build "pawsitive" self-esteem and improve your reading skills while reading aloud to certified therapy dogs.

This program is a hybrid of our traditional Children Reading to Dogs program.  We will use technology to connect to the certified therapy dogs and their owner remotely.  You will need a device and internet connection to participate in this program. One staff member will be stationed in each breakout room with one reader and one certified therapy dog.

You will receive the information to connect to this program through email one day prior to the program.  Please watch your email for this information.  If you do not receive the information you need please email: engagement@metrolibrary.org with the subject Children Reading to Dogs.

Note:  You must register for every individual program.  Registration for these programs begins on Monday at 9am and ends on Wednesday at 4pm for that week's sessions.  (e.g., April 16th sessions registration begins on April 13th and ends on April 15th).
