Are you searching for employment? Did you know there are many valuable resources provided by the Metropolitan Library System to assist in your job search? Yes! We want to help get you organized with a Job Search Starter Kit! This kit provides you a flash drive and folder to create and save a resume. We highlight some of the resources provided by the Library to assist you with the best presentation of your individual experience, knowledge and skills. We give you some important tips when job searching. Content list: folder, flash drive with 3 resume templates and an explanation of each type, lined paper, MLS pen, 2 pamphlets, career resource guide & employment and resume help, setting up email, tips for filling out a job application, avoiding job scams, applying for unemployment (select pages, we can print the entire booklet if needed), job interview checklist, resume worksheet, Tailor Skills on writing a resume for adults and teens, background tips for job applicants, job scam bookmark
