Program Description

Event Description

Juneteenth honors the end of slavery in the US. It became an official federal holiday in 2021.

Create an 8 inch wreath centerpiece in the colors of the Pan-African flag with a flameless candle to use on your table for your Juneteenth feast. The kit includes a wreath base, tissue paper, and an LED candle. You will need to provide a toilet paper tube, pencil, scissors, glue and either a stapler/staples, or a needle and thread.

With your kit you will receive an information booklet that will help you learn about the holiday and include recipes to use for your feast!

We can only guarantee one kit per household and per registration (if required).
