Program Description

Event Description

Have you seen the Breve Historia del Tiempo sculpture outside of Oklahoma Contemporary Art Center? The all black Plymouth Duster, suspended above a pool of water is the work of Mexican conceptual artist Gonzalo Lebrija. This kit lets kids decorate, build, and stage their suspended car, and encourages them to consider how art evolves based on where it is located and designed.

This kit was designed by staff at OCAC, and funded by the Metropolitan Library System and Kirkpatrick Foundation.  Learn more about the exhibit La casa que Nos Inventamos: Contemporary Art From Guadalajara at https://oklahomacontemporary.org/exhibitions/current/la-casa-que-nos-inventamos-contemporary-art-from-guadalajara

For kids ages 6-12.

Available while supplies last.
