Painted Sky Opera presents “The Enchanted Forest.” In this special, choose-your-own-adventure production, kids get to take part in writing their own operatic fairytale, right on stage! The audience decides who will play the royal lead, bumbling best friend, fiery villain, and more! With music by Mozart, Bizet, Puccini, Verdi, and others, kids will learn about operatic music while taking part in the adventure. How will good choices, teamwork, and kindness be used to fight the danger that lurks in this foreboding forest?
Painted Sky Opera will also be performing during the Neighborhood Arts Series at multiple libraries, funded in part by Arts Council Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts and the Friends of the Metropolitan Library. They will be at Northwest Library on both Saturday, July 9 @ 2:00PM and Monday, July 11 @ 10:30AM
