Love young adult literature, even though you may not be a teen any longer? This book club is open to all YA lovers, both teens and adults!
This month, we are discussing Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley, winner of the 2022 Michael L. Printz Award for YA literature, the William C. Morris YA Debut Award, and the Walter Dean Myers Award for Outstanding Children's Literature. Daunis, who is part Ojibwe, defers attending the University of Michigan to care for her mother and reluctantly becomes involved in the investigation of a series of drug-related deaths.
