Event Description

Blackbeard is the most infamous pirate from the Golden Age of Piracy! His prized vessel, the Queen Anne's Revenge, ran aground on a sand bar near Beaufort, North Carolina and had to be abandoned. Blackbeard marooned some pirates and left with a hand-picked crew and most of the valuable plunder. He was killed only six months later. Where is his treasure now?

During a beach vacation near Beaufort, you stumble across a worn, wooden plank and some seashells with pirate markings on them near the entrance to an old, unstable cave. The tide comes in and will flood the crumbling cave in an hour. Can you find Blackbeard's treasure before the ocean forever claims the golden secrets of the fearsome pirates?
