Program Description

Event Description

Plants as Medicine have been respected by indigenous peoples across the world for generations.

The knowledge of plants is essential in our understanding of how to use them as medicine and even in learning the history of our current pharmaceutical era. Dr. Jones believes that our medicine is in our own backyard, and we need to learn how to identify it and use it to work with our body and stimulate healing. We will explore common indigenous medicinal plants and learn how to identify them and their uses. We will also cover sustainable and appropriate ways to wildcraft and introduce how to preserve medicines. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and gain a better understanding of how you can use plants as medicine.
