Program Description

Event Description

Each month, we meet share our thoughts about a chosen anime or manga series in this new kind of "book" club. All teens (up to age 19) with an interest in anime, manga, or Japanese culture are welcome to join and participating's easy. Just watch the month's anime prior to the meeting and come ready to share your thoughts about it!  Whether you're new to anime and manga or a long-time fan, we hope everyone will discover something new to love!

What are we watching? This month, we'll be discussing season 1 of Cells at Work (13 episodes + the bonus episode, The Common Cold). Already seen it? Season 2 premiers in January, so it's the perfect time for a refresher!

About the Show: Cells at Work is an action-packed look at the battles the cells in your body fight every day (and some of the more dangerous than others). This hilarious show follows a bright, energetic red blood cell and a germ-fighting white blood cell she often meets as they go about their jobs: supplying nutrients to and protecting the organs of the human body! Learn about the story of your body in this fascinating anime.
