Program Description

Event Description

Let's continue our journey around the world - through art!

Join us each month with a new Take and Make Kit highlighting a different type of folk art from countries, territories, and people around the world. For our November trip, in honor of National Native American Heritage Month, we will be “traveling” to The Pacific Northwest! Along with information about the artform, the area, and the people - this Take Home kit will contain the instructions and materials needed to make Formline Art - indigenous art made by Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian peoples of the Northwest Coast of North America, distinguished by the use of characteristic shapes referred to as ovoids, U forms and S forms.
