Let's continue our journey around the world - through art!
Join us each month with a new Take and Make Kit highlighting a different type of folk art from countries, territories, and people around the world. For our October trip, we will be “traveling” to The Philippines! Along with information about The Philippines, its islands, and people - this Take Home kit will contain the instructions and materials needed to make a paper mat similar to a Banig - a handwoven mat usually used in East Asia and the Philippines for sleeping and sitting.
