Program Description

Event Description

With fall starting and the cold weather temperatures setting in, our bird friends need all the help they can get. In this kit, supplies will be included for you to make a Mason Jar Bird Feeder. Instructions will also be provided to make additional feeders that use materials you may have at home. You will also learn how to identify and track common North American birds in our area. Coloring sheets and booklists are also included for fun and learning. Kits are one per adult and can be picked up at Northwest Library from Wednesday November 25 through Monday November 30 during curbside pickup hours. Registered customers must pick up kits by Monday 8 PM or call the library at (405) 231-8650 to make alternate pick up arrangements as any remaining kits will be made available to waitlisted customers on Tuesday. Due to high demand for these kits, all print outs and instructions will be posted here on the TUESDAY after the last day of pickup so that families with siblings or others who may not have had the opportunity to register can reproduce the kit at home.

Please note: The library is closed Thursday November 26 and Friday November 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
