Event Description

Tweens! Thursdays are YOUR day in the library. On the first and third Thursday of every month, we'll have classes, activities and all kinds of fun just for you. The In-Be-Tweens meet from 4 pm to 5 or 5:30 pm on the first and third Thursday of the month. The In-Be-Tweens are ONLY for grades 5 through 8 and registration is required.

CARTOONING CLASS: Tweens, we're drawing your favorites this week! From Captain Underpants to Pokemon, you'll learn how to break down and draw the coolest cartoon and comic characters around. Bring all your creativity and your ideas for who (or what) you'd love to learn to draw for this exciting new series JUST for tweens. Kit pickup will begin Thursday, October 28th. Kits must be picked up by closing, Monday, November 1st. Any kits leftover will be given to the next child on the waitlist and the original participant's registration will be cancelled. If you cannot pick up your kit by the end of the day on Monday, please contact the library to make other arrangements.
