Program Description

Event Description

Celebrate our non-human friends with this special kit. Whether you have pets or just love animals in general the littles will love being able to make their own paper accordion dog (just like Slinky from Toy Story) and their own paper plate sheep. Both activities provide a good opportunity to work on fine motor skills like folding, cutting and tearing, with the sheep activity also providing a sensory element with the cotton balls included for the craft. Also included will be a booklist featuring animal friends and enemies. Celebrate the animal friends we all make in life, whether they be at home or on the farm, with this kit!

Kits are one per FAMILY. Any duplicate registrations will be deleted. Kits can be picked up at Northwest Library from Wednesday February 17th through Saturday February 20th. Registered customers must pick up kits by Saturday 4 PM or call the library at (405) 231-8650 to make alternate pick up arrangements as any remaining kits will be made available to waitlisted customers on Sunday. Due to high demand for these kits, all print outs and instructions will be posted here on the SUNDAY after the last day of pickup so that families with siblings or others who may not have had the opportunity to register can reproduce the kit at home.
