Have you ever wanted to start a Journal? Many famous writers, artists and original thinkers of our generation have kept journals, for many it is a creative necessity, for others, a place for exploration, and for some an art form in and of itself. So if you're ready to get creative join us for a three part series: Journaling @ the Downtown Library. You can create your very own Wreck this Journal in March, create a Junk journal in April for Earth Day and an Art Journal at GeekCon in May! Bring ticket stubs, pictures and any other items that you would want included in your journal.

This month as part of our GeekCon celebration we will be creating an Art Journal! An art journal is a visual diary; it combines elements of writing, drawing, painting, collage, and even printmaking to express yourself.

Space is limited, registration required. Ages 13+
