Did you start a garden this spring? Stocking up on fresh fruit and vegetables this summer? Learn how to make them last a little longer! OSU Extension Specialist Taylor Conner will show you how to can and preserve your garden’s bounty!
This program is designed for people who want to learn more about basic home food preservation using the water bath canning method. This method is safe for acidic foods such as fruits and tomatoes. Participants will learn how to use a water bath canner to preserve, safely, the bounty of fresh produce all year long. Program includes demonstrated techniques, handouts and discussion.
