Calling all young readers! Join us as we discover new books, play games, make crafts, and more! Books clubs are an excellent way for children to develop language and conversation skills, solve problems, and make new friends.
Every year Oklahoma students grades 3rd-5th get to vote on the Sequoyah book award. Students are asked to read three titles off the Masterlist and then vote for their favorite. Each month we will focus on a different book from the Sequoyah list. Students are asked to read the title beforehand and come ready to participate in fun activities based on the book. Register early so that we have enough supplies.
Below are the Book Selections for the Fall:
September: The Rhino in Right Field
October: You Choose: The Spirit of Cattail County or The Story Collector: A New York Public Library Book
November: Grump : the (fairly) true tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
December: Lifeboat 12
