Event Description

Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk of falls. The SAIL program was designed with these principals in mind. Each class includes warm-up, stretching, cardio, balance, and strengthening exercise, as well as cool down. This class meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for six weeks. Classes start on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 and end on Thursday, January 16, 2019. To register please sign up online, in the library, or call the Southern Oaks Library at (405) 631-4468.
The class is open entry you can attend a class at anytime if space is available.
