Event Description

It's never too early to get the S.T.E.A.M. activities rolling! Join your toddler or preschooler in their own science experiment involving a paper rocket and a straw. How far can they make the rocket go? What if they change the straw length? Does inside or outside make a difference? In addition to the rocket experiment, there will also be a constellation lacing card. Even the youngest in your home can work on their fine motor skills with this lacing activity. Later you can try to find the constellation you are given in the stars. This kit is best for those just getting familiar with space and basic science concepts.

Kits are one per FAMILY. Any duplicate registrations will be deleted. Kits can be picked up at Northwest Library from Wednesday April 21st through Saturday April 24th during curbside pickup hours. Registered customers must pick up kits by Saturday 4 PM or call the library at (405) 231-8650 to make alternate pick up arrangements as any remaining kits will be made available to waitlisted customers on Sunday. All print outs and instructions will be posted here on Sunday April 25th so that families with siblings or others who may not have had the opportunity to register can reproduce the kit at home.
