Enjoy the outdoors! Go on a StoryWalk®! In partnership with Midwest City Parks and Recreation we invite families to StoryWalk® at Kiwanis Park. StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to small sign frames, which are posted along an outdoor path. Families are invited to stop by the Midwest City Library after completing the STORYWALK® and pick up a related take home activity kit. **This event is scheduled to take place outside weather permitting.
(The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.)
The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. If you have any concerns about accessibility or need to request specific accommodations, please contact the library.
This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to be in attendance and be engaged with your child for this program.
