Program Description

Event Description

Let’s get stronger, together! Evidence suggests that Tai Chi is an effective means of improving balance, strengthening muscles, and building confidence to prevent falls. Tai Chi is a low-impact dance-like exercise that can be performed almost anywhere.

This introductory class teaches participants ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements.

This is a recurring event. Registration closes 06/04/2019 and you must attend the first two sessions to be enrolled in the class. If the class is full and you are interested in future classes, please put your name on the waiting list.

This free workshop is sponsored by The Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative, a program of the Donald W. Reynolds Department of Geriatric Medicine and is supported by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation
