About Edmond Library
The busiest library in the Metropolitan Library System, Edmond Library annually circulates more than one million books and other materials. First opened in 1967 as a storefront location, the library moved to 10 S. Boulevard in 1973. The largest renovation and expansion was completed in 2000, adding 10,000 square feet. The renovated library includes the Fred P. Snyder Quiet Reading Room, a beautiful round room for children's programs, and an expanded meeting room space. In later updates, a new automatic materials sorter was added along with additional parking.
Book drop location: On the west side of building with a designated temporary parking space available off of Boulevard.
Public transit:
- Citylink bus routes 4 and 6 (click here for route map)
- Closest bus stop: Public Safety Center, 100 E. 1st St. (4-minute walk from bus stop to library)
- NOTE: All Citylink routes stop at the Edmond Citylink Transit Center (30 W. 1st St.), which is 0.4 miles (10-minute walk) from the Edmond Library.
- All Citylink routes are free. Citylink does not run on Sundays, and has limited service on Saturdays.

- Color copy machine with free outbound faxing (to U.S. numbers only) and scanning capability
- Chromebooks (available to check out on a first-come, first-served basis)

- Catalog computers dedicated to searching the library's collection
- Library staff who can provide assistance locating information, using print and electronic sources, and provide readers' advisory
- Place and pick up interlibrary loan requests
- Tours and instruction in the use of library resources (by appointment)
- Experience Passes for the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the Oklahoma History Center, Oklahoma Banjo Museum, and the Museum of Osteology that are first-come, first-served

This program has 2 sessions. Please register for either 6:30-7 pm OR 7-7:30 pm. Each reader must be registered individually.
