About Nicoma Park Library

The Nicoma Park Library is one of five extension libraries in the Metropolitan Library System. In 1975, the Nicoma Park Library began providing service to the area while housed out of a room in the Nicoma Park City Hall. In April 1996, the library moved to its current location in a community center, next door to the senior citizens center in Nicoma Park.

Book drop location: Northwest side of the building, right next to the end of the ramp.

Special Programs: 
  • Children Reading to Dogs held every 2nd and 3rd Thursday from 4:00-4:45pm
  • Lady Crafters meet every 3rd Friday from 10:00am until noon


  • Public use computers with Internet access and printing capabilities
  • Free WiFi
  • Mobile and offsite printing
  • Copy machine
  • Local faxing is available for $0.25 cents/sheet  
  • Meeting room for public use (reservations required)
  • Library staff who can provide assistance locating information, using print and electronic sources, and provide readers' advisory
  • Place and pick up interlibrary loan requests
  • Kid-friendly, providing puzzles, toys and coloring pages
