Summary: The Lead IT Technician plays a key role in managing and supporting the organization’s end-user computing environment. This position focuses on the full lifecycle of endpoint devices, including configuration, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning. The Lead Technician also contributes to the development of technical policies and procedures, leads initiatives for device standardization and automation, and serves as a senior escalation point for the service desk.

Assistant Library Manager I

Location: East Edmond Library

Brief Job Description:

Hiring salary is $55,619.20 to $69,534.40 annually.  Exact compensation negotiable based on skills and experience. 

Under general direction provides leadership and direction for library staff at a medium-sized library. Assists with planning,organizing, and managing library operations, including supervising staff and volunteers. Assists users in the use of materials, equipment, and/or services provided by the library.

This position will be assigned to the East Edmond Library, which is currently under construction at a site east of I-35 and 15th Street in Edmond, OK. The selected candidate will be assigned to other locations throughout the system until construction of the East Edmond location is complete.

Summary:  Under general supervision, the Audio Visual (AV) Support Technician supports complex AV systems from inception through operations at all Metropolitan Library System (MLS) locations. Supports conference room and auditorium setup and operations, presentation and/or sound system setup and operations, and video conferencing system setup and operation. Works closely with the Information Technology (IT) team for configurations and support; works with staff and guests to maximize the use of the AV systems and applications. Monitors, maintains, and supports AV operations, including ensuring connectivity, maintenance, and testing of equipment. Handles all AV responsibilities, including entering, escalating, and closing AV-related help desk tickets promptly.

This position is classified as safety-sensitive.

This position will have a primary work location of the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library but may be assigned to work at other locations within the organization as needed.
