Description:
Constructed in 1911 by brothers, Sam and Leon Levy, the Mercantile Building housed many stores over the years including Ingram's Drug and Janet's Millinery Shop. It was demolished as part of urban renewal on February 29, 1976 as the city cleared the area for the planned Galleria.
