Brief Job Description:

Summary of position: Under the direction of the Access Manager, the Library Aide ensures appropriate and efficient processing and distribution of Library materials. This includes checking items in from library book drops, shelving materials, and performing basic library collection maintenance. The Library Aide will provide basic customer assistance by answering directional questions regarding the library collection. May issue library cards and assist members by checking out and returning library materials.

This position is assigned to the Village Library, which is located at 10307 N. Pennsylvania Avenue in the Village, OK  73120.

The hiring range for this position is $98,009.60 to $127,400.00 per year.

Summary of position:  Under administrative direction plans, coordinates, and directs the planning, operations, and staff of the Technology division; responsible for the resources (personnel, hardware, software, voice and data network, and budget) and for the delivery and support of technology to satisfy requirements of individual libraries and departments within the organization to meet the goals and mission of the Metropolitan Library System (MLS).

This position is assigned to the Information Technology department located at the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library at 300 Park Ave., Oklahoma City, OK  73102.  The Ronald J. Norick Library is named after former Mayor Ron Norick.  Norick was a visionary and the champion of the "MAPS" project which voters passed to provide funding for nine new building projects in the downtown area.  The library opened in 2004 in the new four-story, 114,130 square foot facility.
