Program Description

Event Description

Kids ages 5-12 will learn about the famous action artist Jackson Pollock and his abstract paint slingin’, large-scale masterpieces! We will get our hands dirty making acrylic paint and string paintings in Pollock's style. Next, students will learn another easy technique to start any work of art using another action painting technique! We will use watercolor and air to create colorful paintings that kids will then develop into a finished work of art. Get ready for a fun session of creativity and imagination. Parent or guardian must be present and remain in the room to assist. Please wear clothing that can get messy. This program is generously funded by Kirkpatrick Foundation.

*Please register each child individually.
