Program Description

Event Description

"The map must be of sand and can’t be read by ordinary light. "

This takehome kit allows kids to gather and collect and keep with them local dirt, special rocks, or important trinkets. Does all dirt look, feel, or smell the same? How does our place on earth change our perspectives?

"You will see red cliffs. They are the heart, contain the ladder."

Artists Ashanti Chaplin and Ruth Borum-Loveland both collected soil collection to show the important of place, both traveling and at home. Pick up your Oklahoma Contemporary collaborative kit at the Northwest Library! Best for ages 6+.
