Join us every Monday at 9:30 AM at the Downtown Library for Baby Storytime: AAPI Heritage Month Edition! Snuggle in with your little one and enjoy a joyful, relaxed storytime featuring AAPI stories, songs, rhymes, and culturally inspired sensory play. This program offers a playful, welcoming space to slow down, share special moments, and connect with families in your community.
Our caring librarians introduce age‑appropriate books from Asian American and Pacific Islander authors and traditions, along with simple movements, lap bounces, clapping, and musical activities that nurture early literacy, brain development, and bonding. Caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children and take home easy ideas for supporting language and play every day.
This storytime is designed especially for children ages 0–5 and the adults who love them.
Parking is recommended in the Arts District Public Parking Garage.
