Program Description

Event Description

Babysitting 101 is a two-part program designed to help teens build the skills and confidence needed to be safe, responsible babysitters.

In the first session, Babysitting Tips and Techniques, participants will learn the basics of caring for children, including age-appropriate activities, safety awareness, handling common situations, and how to be a reliable and professional sitter.

The second session focuses on CPR, First Aid, and AED awareness. This hands-on class introduces essential emergency response skills, teaching participants how to recognize emergencies and respond appropriately until help arrives.

A snack will be provided.

Perfect for new or aspiring babysitters, Babysitting 101 provides practical knowledge that can be used at home, in the neighborhood, or as a first step toward future childcare jobs.
