BRANCH CLOSURE:

The Harrah Library will be closed for updates from 4/13 - 5/5. 

  • Holds will be available for pickup at the Harrah Senior Center, M-F 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
  • Library items can be returned to the bookdrop at the Harrah Library, the Senior Center, or any other Metropolitan Library location.

Event Description

New to poetry but don't know where to start? Try blackout poetry! The kit includes pages and markers, and that's all you need! Find words on the page that speak to you and circle them, while either "blacking out" the rest or creating a picture that goes with your poem somehow. The limit is your imagination!

Kits are first come, first served, and are available while supplies last.
