Program Description

Event Description

Experience a taste of Taiwan by making boba tea! In Taiwan, boba is a staple of the night markets, which encompass hundreds of food stalls where people congregate after work for groceries and snacks. Boba tea
gained a huge following in the U.S. in the 1990s following widespread immigration from Taiwan, and it is still highly popular today. We will be making our own strawberry boba tea and also learning about the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival and making our own five-color silk bracelets.

The recipe used in this program contains green tea, sugar, tapioca pearls, milk, and strawberries. Guests with allergies to any of these ingredients should be aware.
