Event Description

To celebrate Black excellence for Black History Month, we're looking at Alice Moore Dunbar Nelson. Alice Dunbar Nelson (July 19, 1875 – September 18, 1935) was a journalist, activist, and a widely celebrated poet. Her book, Violets and Other Tales, established her as a leader in the Harlem Renaissance.
