The Harrah Library will be closed for updates from 4/13 - 5/5. 

  • Holds will be available for pickup at the Harrah Senior Center, M-F 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
  • Library items can be returned to the bookdrop at the Harrah Library, the Senior Center, or any other Metropolitan Library location.

Event Description

Learn about the basics of composting, why it is important, and the different methods through a hands-on session.

Kasey Meek brings her passion for nature and education into one role as OKC Beautiful's Education Director, overseeing youth environmental education programs. Growing up in Texas, there was never a shortage of parks that encompassed nature's beauty. Combining her Environmental Science degree with a decade of experience in recreational programming, she hopes to encourage children's curiosity for nature, in hopes it will lead to a greater appreciation for all life.
