Program Description

Event Description

The nights are getting longer and it's a great time to look up at the stars! This astronomy take-home kit has a red flashlight that you can use outside to keep your eyes adapted to the dark. It also has information about what you'll see in the December skies and when the best times to view are. You can expect information about constellations, planets, the Moon, and several meteor showers. Whether you're staying home and watching the stars overhead, or traveling outside the city to somewhere less illuminated at night, you'll find the guide to seeing something neat in this kit!

Note: I recommend picking up your kit in the first few days it's available so you can get information on a meteor shower that week!
