Little, hungry brains must continue to be fed with learning, playing and maker activities. This month, the theme for our early childhood kit is Color Me a Story. The kit is aimed at children ages 1-5 with varying degrees of help from their grown-ups. Each kit includes an activity that helps young kids develop language, fine motor skills, and a love of reading--all while having fun with colors!
Pick up your free kit at the Ralph Ellison Library while supplies last. If you miss getting a kit, you are welcome to join us for our weekly storytime programs at the library. This kit also requires registration as it includes library books that needs to be checked out with an active library card.
Next month, our kit will focus on Letter Knowledge (alphabet/number).
