Dive into the world of gut-friendly goodness with Taylor Conner, OSU Extension Educator! Fermented foods are packed with probiotics that support your gut health, digestion, and immune system. They're flavorful, fun to make and rooted in ancient food traditions. You'll learn the basics of fermentation and how it works; how to safely ferment vegetables at home; tips, tricks and troubleshooting; and the difference between canning and fermenting. Samples of a popular fermented food will be shared. Whether your a beginner or just curious, this is an informative workshop that will leave you feeling empowered (and maybe a little bubbly).
