Program Description

Event Description

How do we know what we know about DINOSAURS?

Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. Because of water, sediment, heat, and pressure, we can learn about dinosaurs through the fossils they left behind!

We will explore the process of fossil formation and create a replica fossil of a dinosaur to mimic the process. Participants can take home their miniature fossils!

This program will be led by staff from Blue Thumb. Blue Thumb is the education arm of the Water Quality Division of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, with the mission of stream protection through education.
